Today I will be at Glory Days all day putting my space together. I am completely out of Indulge!

Here are a couple of pics of some of the Kelso's newest additions to the olde farmhouse! Pics of my space tomorrow hopefully!

The first pic is of a log cabin my husband has been working on and the second an old wood stove he bought me for my kitchen, now I just have to work on him actually hooking it up!

Gosh I can't believe its almost November! Christmas is just around the corner. Today will be spent at Indulge changing over my space to Christmas. I have lots of new stuff that I will be bringing in today. Just want to let everyone know that the flea market that was scheduled at Indulge for July 30th has been cancelled. I am planning on being at The Mercantile's garage sale on July 23, Saturday. I will have lots of primitive planters for sale. Hope you can stop by and say Hi!

I also have a small space at a new store in Creswell called Hummingbirds! The address is 300 N. Mill (old hwy 99). Its a small space as of now but hope to get larger. I carry my Tarts, Room and Linen Sprays, and Candles. My friend and I also have a few primitive dolls for sale there. The store has a cupcake corner that sells yummy cupcakes too!

Hope you are all enjoying summer (when it is nice lol!). Just wanted to let everyone know what I have been up to..... I am still at Indulge and loving it! Been shopping and finding lots of new interesting items and am posting some pictures. The first one is of a Sellers Kitchen Cupboard that I just found ( the one I had is now for sale at Indulge, 2nd picture). We found some really awesome yard art planters and have a couple of those for sale also plus lots of primitive metal pans, buckets etc. that I have filled with succulents. My space is crammed with stuff right now.

More info.... I will be renting a space in a new store in Creswell sometime in July and will post the address soon!

Indulge is having a big parking lot marketplace on July 30th from 8:00 until 4:00. I believe there will be at least 40 vendors so it should be lots of fun. Hope you get a chance to stop by and say hello!

I've been very busy filling my spot at Indulge with lots of goodies! Garden items, lots of new dolls and critters, even some Americana! I also have handmade soy tarts that are just wonderul, one tart melt with fill your home with long, lasting fragrance. I have many different fragances available.
I am at the store almost every day to keep my space filled. Hope I run into you at Indulge!!!!!!

More Spring/Easter goodies on their way to Indugle this morning! I have been printing vintage Easter pictures on muslin and making little bags stuffed with dried grass, carrots and Sweet Annie. I coffee stained them so they look like they are really olde! Yesterday I spent several hours changing my space around and giving it a "new look"

I have a new location where I am selling my handmade items. I have a space at Indulge, formerly Bradley & Englert Antiques. They are located in Springfield at 1461 Mohawk Blvd. Their store is on the backside of the shopping complex. It is a wonderful store, they have really great food and also have teas just like Ruthie B's did. I hope you all get a chance to stop by and check out my space. I have just filled it with lots of handmade items as well as my candles and room sprays. Tomorrow, Feb 19- Saturday, they are staying open later than usual from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will be offering 10% off for those 2 hours. Their usual hours are Tue. thru Sat. from 11:00 to 6:00 pm. I will be there for those 2 hours on Saturday night and hope to see you!

Secondly..... Christmas has come to the Kelso's! This is the first time in 2 years that we have decorated our house so I wanted to post some pics for you all to see!

I am having a Holiday Sale at my space at The Mercantile instead of my house this time. The time has just gotten away from me this last month!

I have lots of hand made primitives that will be stocked in my space starting Wednesday, Nov. 24 thru the 28th
( The Mercantile will be closed on Thankgiving day)

I hope you get a chance to come by and check out my goodies! I have lots of snowmen, santa's, angels, room sprays, candles and much more!

The Mercantile is located at 145 E Pioneer Parkway in Springfield. The hours are 10:30 to 5:30 Wed and Fri,
Sat. 10:00 until 6:00 and Sunday 12:30 to 5:00. After Sunday all my primitives will be taken to my space at The Girls Back Porch in Keizer.

As of 10:52 AM today I am a Great Grandma, My granddaughter Kayla had a little boy, they named him Bentley Dean. He weighes 7 lbs. 13.6 oz and is 20 1/2" long and he is just beautiful! Kayla ended up having a c-section but everything turned out great. Mommy, Daddy and Bentley are all doing well! Oh and of course here is a picture of him! See.... I'm right about him being beautiful!!!!!!

Gosh I just realized that I haven't posted in several days! I was exhausted after my sale but it was so much fun! I won't be doing another sale until next spring. I am hoping to find a couple of shows to go to between now and Christmas. I am busily sewing Christmas goodies, making lots of candles and room sprays and some new grubby colonial style tapers. I will be puting some Christmas items in my space at the Girls Back Porch in Keizer the first of November. They are having another open house with 15% off store wide on November 13th. If you haven't been there you need to check it out cause its a really great store!

Fall / Halloween Open House

Thank you all for attending the first day of my Fall / Halloween Open House! I had such a good time visting with all the wonderful customers I've met! My Open house runs through Sunday so if you haven't had a chance to make it by there is still tomorrow and Sunday!

So many of you asked me if I was going to do a Christmas sale and since there seems to be so much interest I have decided to do one in November. I am thinking of the Thanksgiving weekend, Friday, Saturday and possibly Sunday. Anyway, please stay tuned for further updates about it!

We are now at the Girls Back Porch in Keizer! My friend Marie and I got a spot at this great, great store and we are so excited about it. We just moved our inventory in today! The store is located at 8030 Wheatland Road, Keizer, OR (Directions from I-5 take the Brooks exit, turn left and then left again on Wheatland, the store is on the left. (approx 3 miles from freeway so it is very easy to find) . Hope if you get a chance you can check it out because there are so many wonderful tempting things there!

Store hours are Tuesday thru Saturday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Oh and on Oct. 2 they are having their annual open house and everything is 15% off!

I have been so busy getting ready for the October sale that I haven't even updated my blog lately! Today was work on the customer mailing, getting that ready to mail out to everyone here in a few days. I have a few new vendors for the Oct. 8th, 9th and 10th Fall / Halloween Sale! The prep work has been going on and on for some time now. The weather has not been cooperating with our painter. Steve, our painter will start painting tomorrow so it should all be done in time for the June show!

Facelift

Our olde farmhouse is getting a facelift! Its been years since our house has been painted. The man we hired has been scraping and sanding and now is painting on a sealer/bonder so the new paint job will last for several years. We are trying to decide on a color, and oh what a hard decision it is! I think I am leaning towards all white. I'm sure that this house being 112 years old spent alot of its life all white! Can't wait for the June sale to show off our new paint job!

This is such a sweet little bumble bee hang-about! Made using a pattern by Blue Moon Beginnings. Next is a prim little annie with a pocketful of wool posies. She was alot of fun to make! Made using a pattern by Bird In The Hand Primitives. I will also be taking some of my items to Ruthie B's Antiques in Springfield and also starting my own selling blog! I've been really busy this last week sewing several new items for the upcoming June Sale. The dates of the sale are June 17th, 18th and 19th. More info to follow as the date gets nearer.

So far in the works are some Americana Door Greeter Flag Bags, some really prim and oh so sweet Annie dolls. Also, some prim angels and the cutest Bumble Bees. I'll probably put up some sneak peaks of our items closer to the sale date!

For now I am posting a picture of the very front of our yard. My husband calls it his "Park" and he really has turned a bare piece of ground into a very beautiful spot! Thought you all might be interested in seeing the rest of our yard so I will keep adding pics every few days!

I wanted to show you a picture of my brother's birdhouses. We have them all over our yard and the birds have really been busy checking them out! I saw some sparrows carrying moss that I picked from the woods to the birdhouse outside my shop window. I love to watch them darting about! New babies!

I just added two new babies a few days ago, two baby goslings! They are in addition to my 4 hens, 2 cats and of course our St. Bernard, Elvis! I believe they already think I am their mother. When I get close to them they try and climb on my lap! I can't believe how fast they are growing!
